Sketchbook Project - Invisioning the Past, Present & Future (Session 2)
Join us for an art project rooted in our local history. Attendees will be apart of two sessions to sketch and illustrate an exhibit at the museum representing our past and then work through the present and visualize what it may look like in the future

About The Event
Join us for a two sesion art project that represents our local history!
This is a free program with supplies provided and in parternship with the Jansen Art Center.
Dates are preliminary an may change. The final schedul will be solidified and post before November 1st.
The Museum will host session 1
Students will choose an exhibit or a significant item from our collections. With the help from an instructor, they'll develop their sketch and then work through the present and future ideas.
The Jansen Center with host Session 2
Using watercolors, sutdent will continue with their art iece. Instructor will help with technique and process. The piece then stays with the Jansen Center for display between the two locations. If students need more time, they are welcome to take the piece home to finish as long as we have it returned by the end of the week.
Completed pieces will be on display at the museum and the Jansen Art Center. After a period of time, the art pieces can be picked up by their artists.
