Will food be served?

Food and drinks must remain on the ground floor of the Front Street Gallery (excluding the stage area). Crumbs and spills attract insects. In order to preserve the museum’s collections, the food service must be contained to one area.

Food Restrictions: the museum is not equipped to allow cooking in the space. Pre-made or catered food is acceptable. Food & catering arrangements must be reviewed and approved by museum staff. Other restriction may apply . One refrigerator/freezer combo is available for use.

Alcohol: Beer and wine is permitted with proof of banquet permit. Beverages must remain on the main floor of the museum.

Insurance: For any event held that meets certain conditions (such as a wedding or reception), additional insurance may need to acquired for the day of the event.  The museum can provide recommendations if needed.

The renter is responsible for all event setup with the exception of the museum's visual & audio accommodations. This will be setup by a staff member.  Cleanup is also the responsibility of the renter. This includes removal of all trash that does not fit in the trash container provided by the museum.

It's important for renters to remember the museum is open 7 days a week.  We have limited staff help for event needs and we rely on our renters to make sure the space is clean and presentable for the next day.
