SPACE RENTAL
The Lynden Heritage Museum offers unique and charming rental options that cater to a variety of space needs. Our location makes it convienent for an everyday meeting or a large celebratory event.
Spaces are available during normal operating hours, after hours and full day rentals that are closed to the public. The Vault Boardroom is the only space that is capable of being closed to the public during the day without special arrangments

Mainstreet Hall
Perfect for receptions, parties or weddings. A sound system with audio, 100 chairs and 20 6’ rectangle tables are available if needed.
Basic Event Package
$150
Space available during normal open hours.
*Max 30 attendees
Standard Event Package
$250
After hours event reservation. Includes use of 40’ screen and projector along with the sound and audio system, tables and chairs.
Deluxe Event Package
$450
Museum is closed to the public for the entire day.
Includes the use of the projector, sound & audio system, table and chairs.
Capacity
The museum can seat a maximum of 100 people at tables.
Theater-style seating (chairs set up in rows) can accommodate a maximum of 200 people (please note: the museum only has 110 chairs available with your rental— should you require more chairs, they must be provided at the renter’s expense).

RENTAL CONDITIONS
Food and drinks must remain on the ground floor of the Front Street Gallery (excluding the stage area). Crumbs and spills attract insects, and in order to preserve the museum’s collections the food service must be contained to one area.
Food Restrictions: the musem is not equiped to allow cooking in the space, pre-made or catered food is acceptable. Food & catering arrangements must be reviewed approved by museum staff in case other restriction need applied. One refrigerator/freezer combo is available for use.
Alcohol: Beer and wine is permited with proof of purchase banquet permit. Beverages must remain on the main floor of the museum.
Insurance: For any event held that meets certain conditions (such as a wedding or reception), additional insurance may need to aquired for the day of the event. The museum can provide recommendations if needed.
The renter is responsible for all event setup with the exception of the museum's visual & audio accomodations, this will be setup by a staff member. Cleanup is also the responsibility of the renter which includes removal of all trash that does not fit in the trash container that is provided by the museum.
It's important for renters to remember the museum is open 7 days a week. We have limited staff help for event needs and we rely on our renters to make sure the spae is clean and presentable for the next days open hours.
